Real Update.

In the meantime. . . I was just sitting here, realizing that I'm supposed to change my clocks over. . .when I realized--my watch battery is dead.

That means that I don't have anything to change. This is the first year that the time change has absolutely no effect on me, whatsoever. My phone, which serves as my normal timepiece when I'm not at my computer, will update itself, and of course my computer has been on-board with this concept for a decade.

The process of the government fucking with me--both with my sleeping habits and with my personal schedule, is now completely automated--I'm not even involved in it anymore, I'm barely complicit, just a bystander.
