I learned a definition today.

For the term "having the rug pulled out from under you."

I mean, I had knowledge of the implication.

But now I know the meaning.

Sometime this afternoon, I found myself standing the perfect house for my needs. Reasonable cost, ideal location, great setup, very little work to do before I could move in, and a shop space and apartment below that I could rent out, in the bargain.

Sometime this afternoon, probably while I was standing in the house, it was removed from the MLS list pending sale.

So, here we go. Again.
